High Voltage Vacuum Feedthroughs and Components

- 5kV, 10kV, 20kV, from 30 Amps to 150 AMPs

High Voltage feedthroughs are hermetically-sealed and comprised of 304 stainless steel, OFE Copper, Vacuum Grade Brazed Alloy, and high Purity Alumina Ceramic.

We offer four power ratings (up to 20,000 volts and 150 amps) that are rated from -200°C up to 250°C.  All have a vacuum range of 1x10-10 Torr (Ultrahigh UHV Vacuum) and 1x10-8 Torr (High Vacuum HV).  Our other high power feedthrough components consist of push-on and in-line connectors, vacuum polyimide cables that are for in-vacuum use as well as air service cables.

High Voltage / Power Feedthroughs

Accu-Glass Products’ High Power hermetically-sealed feedthroughs are available in three power ratings up to 20,000 volts and to 30 amperes for use in high and ultrahigh vacuum environments. Feedthroughs for 5, 10, and 20 kVDC, and 30A are offered.

All three power versions are offered on Conflat® compatible CF metal seal and ISO NW KF elastomer seal flanges. High purity Alumina ceramic insulators provide electrical isolation, while OFE copper conductors offer maximum current carrying capacity. The high purity Alumina ceramic is bonded and sealed to low expansion metals in a vacuum furnace environment using precious and semi-precious high temperature vacuum tube grade braze alloys. For custom feedthrough solutions or for ratings other than these standard products, please contact the factory for pricing and information.

Molded air-side silicone rubber boot-like cable connectors provide reliable and environmentally sealed high voltage connections. Vacuum compatible BeCu (Beryllium-Copper) push-on or in-line contacts, and Kapton® insulated wiring are available for in-vacuum connectivity

Notes
  1. Electrical ratings are maximum test values, with vacuum side at ≤ 1x10-4 Torr. Feedthroughs are designed for high power applications.
  2. Overall assembly ratings must be adjusted to that of its lowest rated component. For cryogenic service, the lowest recommended temperature is -200°C
  3. Unless designated a 'kit,' connectors and cable assemblies are not included with feedthrough and must be purchased separately.
